Maartje van der Beek specialises in financial law and advises clients on regulatory, civil and insolvency matters. She is known for her pragmatic approach and her ability to translate complex regulation into concrete, workable solutions.
Maartje regularly advises financial institutions and other market participants operating within international supervisory frameworks. She has extensive experience with (European) regulatory regimes such as MiFID II, PSD2, CCD II, DORA and ECSPR, as well as related AML/Wwft obligations, and plays a leading role in complex matters at the intersection of regulation, contracts and risk management.
Through her active contributions to leading legal publications, Maartje closely monitors developments in legislation and case law and quickly translates these into strategically relevant advice for clients.
