Executive Board

BarentsKrans’ executive board is made up of Jesse Zijlma (chairman), Jeffrey Koenecke and Cosima Stroeve. It is responsible for the firm’s strategic vision, policy and general operations.

History

BarentsKrans celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021. In 1991, The Hague law firm Barents Gasille & Mout merged with civil-law notaries Krans Mulder Meuter and Van Gastel & Bressers, also of The Hague, officially establishing Barents & Krans. Separately, the law firm and firm of civil-law notaries have a longer history.

BarentsKrans has a wide range of foreign clients to which we provide Dutch legal advice, such as financial institutions, listed and private companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, but also sovereign states and public international organisations.
