Executive Board

BarentsKrans’ executive board is made up of Joost Fanoy (chairman), Michiel Martin and Cosima Stroeve. It is responsible for the firm’s strategic vision, policy and general operations.

History

BarentsKrans has a long history in legal services and has existed in its current form for more than 30 years. The merger of three renowned law firms and civil-law notaries in the The Hague region resulted in the new firm Barents & Krans Den Haag, which later continued under its current name. Due to the growing demand for high-quality legal services, a second office was opened at the Amsterdam Zuidas in 2024.

BarentsKrans has a wide range of foreign clients to which we provide Dutch legal advice, such as financial institutions, listed and private companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, but also sovereign states and public international organisations.
