Hugo has been with BarentsKrans since 2016 and is a member of the Commercial Contracts and Supreme Court Litigation practice groups. He represents Dutch and international clients in civil proceedings, both in fact-finding instances and before the Dutch Supreme Court. Hugo specialises in the law of obligations and procedural law.
In addition, Hugo is an (external) doctoral student at Leiden University, researching the forfeiture of rights and requirements to complain under the law of obligations. He is co-editor of the section on that subject in the Monografieën BW series.
