Marieke joined BarentsKrans in November 2019. She is part in our Employment law department. She advises and litigates both on individual and collective employment law issues. In addition, she has ample experience in drafting contracts and (international) HR policies.

From February 2022 until May 2023, Marieke worked in our Corporate/ M&A team. She advised on various corporate law issues and assisted clients in (international) mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and joint ventures.

 In 2020 Marieke graduated cum laude from Leiden University, where she obtained her Master of Laws in Labour Law. During her studies, she did several internships and was actively involved in the publication of Parlementaire Geschiedenis Wet arbeidsmarkt in balans (edited by G.C. Boot, A.R. Houweling en M.J.M.T. Keulaerds, Boom 2019).
