BarentsKrans has acted as advised ENERGIIQ and Fair Capital Partners on its investment in HeatTransformers. HeatTransformers is a specialist in installing hybrid heat pumps for homes and was founded in 2018 to drive the energy transition among Dutch households.

Berend Potjer, Energy Deputy of the Province of South Holland, says the following about this investment: “We believe that addressing the heat demand in the built environment is essential for the energy transition to succeed. Hybrid heat pumps can save a lot of gas in neighborhoods that are not yet off the gas. Investing in HeatTransformers, for example, makes it possible to accelerate the sustainability of the housing stock.”
