Executive Board

BarentsKrans’ executive board is made up of Joost Fanoy (chairman), Michiel Martin and Cosima Stroeve. It is responsible for the firm’s strategic vision, policy and general operations.

Joost Fanoy

Joost Fanoy is an attorney-at-law and a partner in BarentsKrans’ EU & Competition practice group. He has been chairman of the board since 1 January 2026.

Michiel Martin

Michiel Martin is an attorney-at-law and a partner in BarentsKrans’ Corporate / M&A practice group. He has been a board member since September 2024.

Cosima Stroeve

Cosima Stroeve has been director of operations at BarentsKrans since 2003. She also manages the firm’s staff services.
