Sascha is part of the Intellectual Property & Technology department, in which she practices within all areas of IP law with a focus on patent law. Sascha has extensive and international experience in relation to providing legal advice, litigation and alternative dispute resolution in the field of IP matters for national and international clients in the sectors of telecom, life sciences and consumer products.
Prior to joining BarentsKrans, Sascha gained experience at an IP boutique firm in New York (United States), after which she worked as an attorney at law in the IP team of an international law firm in The Hague. She subsequently worked as a digital IP advisor in Melbourne (Australia) in the field of online brand protection and domain name disputes.
Aside from being an attorney at law in the Netherlands, Sascha is a qualified Australian trademark attorney. In 2003, she obtained an LL.M. in International Business Law at the University of Exeter.
