Mariana Boulos Jaraisy
Mariana received her law degree from the University of Haifa in Israel in 2002. Before moving to the Netherlands in 2010, Mariana worked as a lawyer in Tel Aviv, where she specialised in liability and insurance law. In 2013 Mariana obtained a Bachelor degree in Dutch Law and in 2016 a Master degree in Dutch Civil Law from University of Amsterdam. While writing her thesis about ‘protecting derivatives investors in case of the insolvency of their intermediary’ Mariana worked as a paralegal in a law firm in Amsterdam.
In May 2015, Mariana joined The Financial Litigation Practice Group of BarentsKrans. She handles financial law cases regarding the liability of financial undertakings such as banks. In addition, Mariana advices investment institutions and firms, as well as financial service providers on issues concerning financial law.
