Jeremy de Vreede
Jeremy obtained master’s degrees in both notarial law (2018) and Dutch tax law (2017). In May 2018, following his student traineeship at BarentsKrans, Jeremy joined the Real Estate practice group as a junior civil-law notary. He works for several private parties, investors, real estate funds and real estate developers. This mostly involves drafting contracts of sale, transfers, financing and creating limited rights when real estate is bought or sold.
Partly due to his experience volunteering as a legal consultant at the legal advice centre in The Hague (Haagse Wetswinkel), Jeremy is able to convert a client’s needs and wishes into specific legal measures. As a junior civil-law notary, he takes the initiative to draw a party’s attention to the consequences of performing or refraining from particular legal acts. He has equal respect for every client in this regard. Jeremy notes: “A case is successful if the client has been properly informed of the steps that need to be taken.”
