Bart graduated in 2015 from the University of Groningen, where he obtained a Master of Law degree with an emphasis on corporate and labour law. Before joining the Employment Law department, Bart worked for BarentsKrans’ litigation practice group where he litigated in corporate and commercial disputes.

As an labour law lawyer, Bart now mainly focuses on advising and litigating in employment matters, such as reorganizations (collective dismissals), co-determination (works councils) and disputes regarding (collective) labour conditions. Amongst the clients that Bart serves are (international) companies in the transportation business (both cargo and passengers) and industry.
