The BarentsKrans’ IP & Technology team contributed to The Legal 500: Patent Litigation Country Comparative Guide  by providing the chapter on patent litigation in The Netherlands. By means of a Q&A this guide describes the most important aspects of patent litigation in 27 countries worldwide.

Each chapter provides information about the current issues affecting patent litigation in a particular country and addresses topics such as direct and indirect patent infringement, patent invalidity, interim relief PI proceedings and post-grant opposition proceedings. Jaap Bremer and Marleen van den Horst were also responsible for the chapter on The Netherlands in 2020.
