
BarentsKrans, law and civil-law notary firm, has appointed Annelies van der Ploeg as partner for Commercial Contracts starting on 1 July 2018. Annelies specialises in national and international commercial contract law and liability law. In that context, her main focus is on drafting and reviewing purchase and sales agreements, cross-border distribution and agency agreements, collaboration agreements and general terms and conditions. Furthermore, Annelies litigates in commercial disputes on a regular basis. She also advises both national and international clients in the field of e-commerce (including the usage of general terms and conditions in both B2B and B2C legal relationships), consumer law and international private law.
Annelies van der Ploeg (1985) has been with BarentsKrans since February 2016. Before joining BarentsKrans, she worked as a lawyer in the Commercial Contracts and Litigation practice groups at Boekel De Nerée and Van Doorne. She completed the postgraduate specialisation course in National and International Contracts (at Grotius Academy) with distinction in June 2015.
