“I am looking forward to collaborating with the six specialist partners and to exploring opportunities for strengthening each other even further.”

Remco: “The main reason for my move is that at BarentsKrans I will be part of a strong real estate team with several partners. Unlike what I have been used to, specialists in real estate and administrative law work together in this team at competitive rates. I am looking forward to collaborating with the six specialist partners and to exploring opportunities for strengthening each other even further.”

Joost Huijgen, Real Estate partner at BarentsKrans: “BarentsKrans has built up a strong and wide-ranging real estate profile in the market. Remco’s knowledge and experience complements our team: his arrival will enable us to offer our clients even more specialisation and experience in the areas of administrative law and real estate development.”

Remco was a lawyer with for Loyens & Loeff for the past 15 years, seven of those as partner. He started his legal career in 2000 with law firm Van den Boom advocaten, after studying both constitutional & administrative law and corporate law at Maastricht University.

Nicole Soliana has worked in the fields of contract law and liability law since 2010, with a focus on real estate/property development and the public sector. Remco Bäcker: “In addition to her wealth of experience in advising and litigating for government authorities and market participants, Nicole has a great deal of relevant knowledge of environmental law, tenancy law and civil construction law. Her skills make her a welcome addition to the BarentsKrans real estate team.”
