Sjoerd-Paul is a member of the Corporate / M&A practice group. He advises companies on a wide range of M&A transactions. His work includes drafting and negotiating transaction documentation. Sjoerd-Paul likes to work closely with the substance of a matter and moves quickly between legal analysis, commercial interests, and practical execution.
Before joining the Corporate/M&A practice group, Sjoerd-Paul was part of the EU & Competition team. In that practice, he advised clients on merger control filings for major transactions before the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets and assisted clients during dawn raids and investigations by the ACM. He also regularly acted for bidders in public procurement disputes, both in preliminary relief proceedings and on appeal. His experience covers sectors including education, technology, healthcare, mobility and hospitality. In addition, he has worked on a broad range of EU law matters, including aviation law.
