Nanne Kusters

Nanne has been with BarentsKrans since 2026 and is a member of the Real Estate practice group. He has a particular focus on environmental law, planning and environmental regulation, and administrative law.

Nanne works closely with clients in the chemical, food and industrial sectors, collaborating with them to develop practical, creative and commercially viable solutions in the areas of sustainability, permitting and compliance.

He has extensive experience in complex permitting processes, enforcement disputes, subsidy matters and proceedings under Dutch and European environmental and administrative law.

In addition, Nanne has substantial experience with public law aspects of acquisition and divestment transactions and is frequently involved in implementation projects relating to sustainability legislation.

This broad background enables Nanne to maintain an overview of the wider regulatory landscape and to identify pragmatic solutions to permitting and compliance challenges.
