Moira’s practice focuses on European and Dutch competition law and consumer law. Moira is also a member of BarentsKrans’ Cartel damages team. Moira likes working with a client to find a solution that fits their specific predicament best.

Within the areas of both competition and consumer law Moira has broad experience with investigations and fining procedures of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). Moira further advises companies to ensure their operations are in accordance with competition law and consumer law alike. She enjoys investigating in what way or under which conditions undertakings can collaborate to ensure compliance when offering their goods and services to (end) users and to find a solution that fits the client’s needs best.

Moira also specializes in obtaining regulatory approval from the ACM, the European Commission and/or other national competition authorities for mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. She has a special affinity with the construction, retail and transport industries.

Before Moira became a member of the Bar, she gained experience with the Dutch Board of Arbitration for the Construction Industry, ProRail and as a trainee at the European Commission (Directorate-General for Competition).
