Marlou Timmerman has been working as attorney-at-law within the real estate practice of BarentsKrans since 2017. Within BarentsKrans’ extensive real estate practice, Marlou mainly deals with rental law. In this respect she assists both landlords and tenants. In addition, Marlou is regularly involved in project development. Her practice includes advising on and drafting and negotiating contracts, such as lease agreements, purchase and building agreements and cooperation agreements. Marlou is an experienced litigator; she assists clients in proceedings before various judicial authorities. Furthermore, Marlou regularly gives courses on property-related subjects, including rental law. In 2021, Marlou completed the Grotius postgraduate specialisation training in Real Estate, graduating cum laude.
