Freek has been working at BarentsKrans since April 2026 and is a member of the IP & Technology team. He advises on intellectual property matters in a broad sense and has a strong interest in patent law.
Freek studied at Radboud University Nijmegen and the University of Amsterdam and spent an exchange semester at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. During his studies, he specialised in intellectual property law and also developed technical skills, including through a minor in Data Science and work experience in legal tech.
