Celine is a senior associate in the Commercial Contracts practice group of BarentsKrans. She advises both nationally and internationally operating clients on matters relating to commercial contracts.
Celine is very experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including distribution agreements, agency agreements, franchise agreements, purchase and services agreements, and general terms and conditions. In addition, Celine advises clients in matters relating to contract interpretation and in the e-commerce field (both B2B and B2C). Celine also regularly acts in disputes relating to commercial contracts, both before the national courts and in arbitration. Finally, she has several times acted as secretary in cases before the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) in recent years.
In 2022, Celine successfully completed the National and International Contracts specialisation course at the Grotius Academy.
Before joining BarentsKrans in 2021, Celine was part of the Intellectual Property & Technology group of Dentons Europe LLP (Amsterdam office). In this role she also focused on (e-)privacy and cyber security issues, including data protection related matters.
In 2019, Celine was a finalist for Legal Women’s Upcoming Talent Award.
