The Hague, 26 June 2025 – Anne-Rieke Brons-van der Linden and Tom Hoyer will join BarentsKrans’ partner group as of 1 July 2025. With their expertise and enthusiasm, they will strengthen the corporate law practice and the litigation practice, respectively. Their appointments underscore the firm’s ongoing investment in talent development.
Joining BarentsKrans in 2008, Anne-Rieke Brons-van der Linden focuses on M&A, joint ventures and corporate governance in her corporate law practice. Anne-Rieke has experience in the construction, tech, food and semi-public sectors, with a particular focus on healthcare. From 2014 to 2019, Anne-Rieke worked as corporate counsel for the NS (Dutch Railways). That experience has proved invaluable when advising in-house counsel, who value her pragmatic and dedicated approach. About joining the partner group, Anne-Rieke said: “I didn’t follow the conventional route and I’m delighted that BarentsKrans allowed me to do so. That’s exactly what brought me to where I am today and I’m very enthusiastic about this great step.”
Having worked at BarentsKrans since 2014, Tom Hoyer advises and litigates on a wide range of commercial disputes. In addition to contractual disputes, Tom focuses on cartel damages cases, in which he plays a key role. He also deals with restructuring and insolvency issues. About his appointment, Tom said: “It is a special milestone to become a partner at the firm where I started my career. I look forward to further strengthening our leading position in cartel damages cases and other complex commercial disputes.”
