BarentsKrans advises SWARCO AG on acquisition of Dynniq Mobility

SWARCO AG has acquired all the shares in Dynniq Mobility, thus strengthening its market position in urban and interurban traffic management and public lighting. This gives the combined groups a position that will accelerate the development, adoption and use of ITS solutions. The acquisition has added about 1,100 people to the SWARCO Group, with a revenue increase of over EUR 200 million. BarentsKrans assisted SWARCO AG in the acquisition process.

The takeover includes companies in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Belgium, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden and Lithuania and it was carried out in cooperation with lawyers from various firms including Oppenhoff & Partner (Germany), Wardynski (Poland) and Strelia (Belgium).

SWARCO has an international network of production facilities, offices and partners on every continent and offers one of the most complete solution portfolios for road marking, signage, urban traffic management, parking, highway and tunnel management, and public transport. Dynniq Mobility, headquartered in Amersfoort, has a total of 39 offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Belgium, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden and Lithuania. Occupying a strong market position, it provides important expertise in managing major infrastructure projects.
