BarentsKrans has advised Protecs B.V. on the sale of HITEC Food Systems to OctoFrost, located in Sweden. HITEC Food Systems is a Netherlands-based developer, manufacturer and supplier in the field of customised stainless steel solutions in the food processing industry. OctoFrost is a global supplier of food processing equipment with a strong focus on heat treatment.

With the acquisition of HITEC Food Systems (specialized in coating, deep-frying, oil filtering, cooking, grilling and cooling), OctoFrost (specialized in blanching, cooking, cooling and freezing) expands its range of solutions for a wide range of food products, which also accompanies an expansion of OctoFrost Group to three production sites in Sweden and the Netherlands.
