BarentsKrans has advised Fortimedix Surgical Holding on the sale of Fortimedix Surgical to Medtronic. Fortimedix Surgical, now Medtronic Articulating Technologies, combines high-tech device development expertise with best-in-class manufacturing know-how to help bring new and disruptive instrument technologies to market and to transform medical interventions.

In its fully equipped R&D and pilot manufacturing center at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen, product development and manufacturing are seamlessly integrated under one roof. Medtronic Articulating Technologies has stated: “We are pleased to announce that Fortimedix Surgical has been acquired by Medtronic. This represents a unique opportunity to apply our articulating instrument technology to patient therapies. We look forward to joining Medtronic.”
