Nick Surber is a partner in the corporate department of BarentsKrans. Nick graduated from Leiden University in Civil Law in 1993. After having worked as lawyer in Dordrecht (near Rotterdam), Nick joined BarentsKrans in 1998. In 2002, he became a partner in the firm. Nick has extensive experience in assisting clients with (cross-border) transactions, (re)financing transactions and setting up Dutch companies for international investment structures and to obtain greater tax efficiency. He is fluent in English and has working knowledge of German and French.

Acting as Dutch counsel to Williams Advanced Materials, Inc., a leading supplier of specialty materials used in thin film deposition and semiconductor packaging applications, in connection with setting up a Dutch holding structure (B.V.’s) for its non-U.S. subsidiaries and assisting WAM with the execution of a US$ 240 Million Credit Facility
